Social media management, content, and creative strategy for small businesses and brands built on taste & trust.
I work with design & lifestyle brands across the Southeast, where the product isn't just what you sell, it's the eye behind it. My job is to make sure your social presence earns the same trust your work already has.
“Manning has been our social media manager since opening Birdies of St Simons in 2022. Manning shapes the public image with terrific clarity. She is a media wizard. She always knows what we need in the world of marketing. Manning recognizes that our values need to define our image and she builds our reputation with that as our focus.”
“Manning has elevated our social media presence in a way that truly reflects each of our designers and their styles. She has increased our reach and engagement, especially with new markets. It’s been fun to watch! ”
“ I’ve always been driven by a creative passion for helping people feel connected.”
— Manning Mercer, Founder
With a degree from the University of Georgia and a diverse portfolio in digital media management, I have honed my ability to adapt and tailor strategies across various industries. Whether it’s crafting engaging content or designing effective strategies, I thrive on helping businesses find their unique voice and grow their presence with the people who truly matter. From creating communication strategies and marketing plans, managing editorial projects, creating content, facilitating direct sales in public relations, and even leading seminars on how to effectively reach your ideal clients, I can confidently say that my experiences have given me the confidence and expertise to serve small businesses.
I’ve always had a deep appreciation for small businesses, and my friends like to joke that I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was born. I launched the MCM Creative “brand” in 2009 when I started a very handmade stationery business out of my childhood playroom. I called it “MCM Designs,” so to make that 11-year-old entrepreneur proud, MCM Creative just felt right.
